Chris is a Technology Transfer Fellow working as part of Dr Eifion Jewell’s Coating Development team at SPECIFIC. His work focuses on the formulation, development, and life cycle analysis of coating systems with additional attention on the role that computational chemical modelling can have within the coatings industry.

Prior to becoming a researcher, Chris completed his EngD at Swansea University, sponsored by Beckers Group through the Materials and Manufacturing Academy (M2A). The research investigated the development of novel coating formulations through the formulation and development of novel resins.
