Technical Business Development Manager
Mark is a solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and sustainability specialist.
Following his PhD in Building Integrated PV Mark ran the UKAS accredited Solar Energy Testing Service at Cardiff University. He then joined G24 Innovations Ltd, a Dye Sensitised Solar start-up to establish the Test Lab before taking on responsibility for product and technology development.
Since joining SPECIFIC in 2016 Mark has used his extensive knowledge of solar and renewable technologies to champion projects covering Demand Side Response, Active Travel, Heat from Wind and Next-Generation Solar for Transforming Energy Access.
Outside of SPECIFIC Mark is a passionate cyclist, riding mountain bikes, road, gravel and folders for leisure, transport and competition. He is also a Director of Solapak Development Ltd, implementing solar as a solution for the East Africa Dairy sector.
