Congratulations to Naked Energy, who have recently announced £17m of new equity in Series B first close, led by E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions. The investment will supercharge its global expansion and the adoption of its cutting-edge solutions to decarbonise heat.
Naked Energy has gone from strength to strength since the first commercial installation of its Virtu PVT (photovoltaic thermal) technology on the Active Office back in 2018.
Virtu PVT combines solar photovoltaics (PV) and solar thermal technology to generate both electricity and heat from a single solar collector.
Justin Searle, SPECIFIC’s Technology Director, offered his congratulations:

This latest investment is a strong endorsement of Naked Energy’s growth plans. It will enable the company to accelerate the international distribution of its award-winning solar heat and power technology with the adoption of innovative new business models.
